our grandkids in debt

OUR GRANDKIDS IN DEBT
I don’t know who it was that first popularized the battle cry of federal debt being a tax on our grandchildren, but to me it is starting to look like a concern on par with women’s suffrage, Demon Rum, civil rights for Negros or the need to Unionize.  In other words, about a hundred years out of date.  Give it a rest already.  The federal debt is so big that in a growing economy it couldn’t be paid off.  In a flat economy it wouldn’t have a hope in Hell of being paid down and in our contracting economy it is growing at the fastest rate ever.  It really is as simple as that and to pretend otherwise is to betray yourself as just another punk ass Pollyanna fool.  When a “learned expert” starts going on and on about how we are selling our grandchildren into debt bondage, he is telling us that our economy will continue on for decades.  Perhaps a bit bruised but still recognizable and manageable.  News flash, you moron, the federal debt won’t be around when your grandkids have to start worrying about taxes.  Because the nation of America won’t be as big as it is now.  The same goes for you militia fools rubbing your Chinese SKS’s against your crotch and saying the Pledge Of Allegiance ( do King Patriots see any irony in buying a foreign made carbine to fight with? ).  The FedGov will of course be much more draconian and vicious before it dies.  It already is.  If in doubt, get yourself arrested for a political crime and wait for your trial.  You’ll be waiting until the cows come home.  Just wait for it, the government will expire on its own.  No need to fight it.

No one “does” Africa.  We simply ignore the place.  It is too depressing.  50-75% AIDS infection, constant famine, constant war.  Kind of what the militiamen see in their future, but probably without the messy part like AIDS, not having enough MRE’s to eat, or even being wounded.  If they are slightly winged by a bullet they will manfully shrug it off like Rambo ( who was too tough to get an infection ).  We like to compartmentalize Africa off.  It is a special case, and not worthy of notice since they are a bunch of idiots with suntans.  I think that most of us, probably being closet racists, will never admit it but think only bad things happen to Blacks.  Not to white boys.  Even though the only thing different over there is that the cotenant was closed off to any resource grab.   That was their crime, not their skin color.  Lacking almost all wealth ( being a wealth provider, not a wealth owner ), they are simply ahead of their time.  They are overpopulation meeting declining soil fertility added to ocean fish depletion with a dash of weird weather thrown in.  And, it should be noted, with a higher gun ownership than the US.   Africa is us, the US, in the not too distant future.  Remember, depletion of declining resources during overpopulation ( I’d wager a donut that the US is WAY overpopulated at 300 million ) is a bell curve.  The slide down is fast.

Oil production in this country was from 1930 to 1970.  That’s the left side of the curve.  Forty years later it is way down on the right side.  We can’t survive on five million barrels a day ( domestic production ).  Not as things are now ( centralized, transported petroleum foods ).  Without a functioning economy to field our military, we can’t police the oil production, transportation or allotment globally.  We fall back to our domestic production, and that ain’t a guaranteed five million a day.  Notice were most of our production is.  On our borders.  You want to cripple the country, you blow up the Gulf Of Mexico production, the Louisiana/east Texas refineries and the Alaskan pipeline.  All conveniently within striking distance of other navies.  A bank holiday in Italy ( a hearty hi-ho and thanks for all the fish to Rawles for that update.  I had no idea until I read his site ), panic spreads, the US economy is brought down by a public panic for cash which forces our own holiday and before you know it our military is forced home to police the cities.  A perfect time to strike, if you were an enemy.

And that is just one very plausible future.  No need for a solar flare or whatnot.  The vulnerability of our position on top is epic.  Do you really think you should spare a moment worrying that Little Suzy is going to owe double the taxes?  That can only happen if we return to our national Happy Place as we rule the world and the oil spigots gush forth forevermore.  Okay, granted, I’m jealous.  I wish I could get paid millions to scare the crap out of folks on a bogus strawman, secretly groomed by the banker elite to do their bidding.  I’d throw you all under the bus and coolly cash in my thirty pieces of silver.  Lucky for you, they only pay in worthless paper rather than silver, so I have no desire to enflame the mobs.  Benjamin Franklin, that randy old goat, a truly lovable character, was a stout advocate of hyper-inflating government debt away.  No need for present or future pain.  Live on Monopoly money, declare it null and void, and move on to the next currency.  So good news, Mousegateers, your fifteen trillion and counting national debt will soon be forgotten.  Of course, this time the end game is smoldering ruins in the mega-cities rather than onward to steal more Indian land.  But at least Suzy can find honest work like prostitution instead of working as a cubicle warrior paying homage to Lord Obammy.

  1. Good post with some valid points, but if you think that the U.S. is over-populated with a mere 300 million people then you may need to remove your head from your ass.

How many people that read this blog have served in the military and have been stationed in Germany? Many, I suspect. Remember flying over Germany and how the landscape looked? That's right. It looked just like flying over the Midwestern U.S. states. Mostly farm fields, distinctively plotted, with plenty of forests and even some mountains (I even saw a few castles nestled on some mountain tops). While many of the cities have a huge population, they appeared to be nothing when viewed from the air.

My point is this: Germany has about one-third of the population of the U.S. (80 plus million), and yet it is all confined within an area the size of the state of Oregon. Yet, they are a net food EXPORTER!! And that is even taking into account their huge plots of hops (for beer making) that doesn't even count as 'food'!

When a country like the U.S. can afford to turn half it's corn crop into fuel and then use most of the rest to feed hogs, chickens, turkeys and cattle, they are not 'over-populated'. Then we could talk about all the grains and potatoes that are only used for making beer and liquor. We haven't even begun to stress our food supply for the people.

The over-population myth continues to spread like a virus though. So get out there and make some babies, Bison minions. And as an aside note: if you need Viagra, that is likely God's way of letting you know that his creation doesn't need/want you in the gene pool anymore.

  4. 730- overpopulated now? With oil inputs? No. Take away the oil. WAY overpopulated. Especially since we have centralized food production. I imagine Germany still has a decentralized farming economy ( next to urban centers to decrease transportation needs ). We don't. When oil was cheap, we could ship plastic toys from China to NYC, selling them for a buck retail. When oil is cheap you can flood a field with artificial fertilizers, then ship cheap corn to NYC, Saudi Arabia, etc. Take away the cheap oil. Then take away any oil. Then the current food model collapses.
